September 2025 Games To Watch

Each month, we like to look ahead and pick out a few titles that catch our eye to highlight; be it big AAA or solo-dev indie, we’re always looking for the next cool thing to play and share with you! Let us know in the comments if there’s anything this month that you’re looking forward to!

Hell Is Us – Nacon

One that’s been on our list for a while now, this hardcore action adventure is looking to take gamers on a journey with as little hand holding as possible. There will be no checkpoints, no way markers, and details on the what/who/where will need to be carefully listened for from NPC’s. We’re all for hard games, but could this prove a bit too demanding? A demo is available now on console though we haven’t had chance to play it yet.

Chronos: The New Dawn – Bloober Team

After Silent Hill 2‘s recent success (Xbox release when, Bloober??), all eyes are on Bloober to see if they can follow it up with what looks to be a worthy survival horror title. Historically the team have been a bit hit and miss, but from all showings so far there’s high hopes Chronos lands on its feet.

Silent Hill f – Konami

After the aformentioned remake, Konami are back with a brand new Silent Hill title in Silent Hill f. With a more action focus and a Japanese setting, we’re cautiously optomistic that this’ll at least fill the gap until Requiem is released next year. But by all accounts f is something worth checking out in its own right.

Sonic Racings: Crossworlds – Sega

Now look; everytime Sonic and chums are hitting a track, we can’t help by pine for a new Sonic R (and maybe, just maybe, one day we’ll get it). But for now, this’ll do. With the ever-popular crossovers from other media (Spongebob and Minecraft feature heavily here) present and correct, we just hope the core racing is up to the task. The last few have been fun enough, so we’re hopeful, but dammit Sega, get rid of the cars and let us feel the sunshine once more!

I've been gaming since Spy vs Spy on the Master System, growing up as a Sega kid before realising the joy of multi-platform gaming. These days I can mostly be found on smaller indie titles, the occasional big RPG and doing poorly at Rainbow Six: Siege. Gamertag: Enaksan
