We’re back with our second Project Game Pass game for 2024; and there really could be no other option than the behemoth that is Palworld. Since launching back on Jan 19th it’s gone from being a mild curio to one of the biggest games on Steam and Xbox Game Pass.
While that could be attributed to the controversy around the designs of the Pokémon in part, the actual game seems to have hit the headlines simply because a lot of people are simply having fun with it. The Xpod Tavern crew are mixed on their history with survival/crafting games, and indeed Pokemon, but Project Game Pass makes exception for no man, and so we shall play and deliver our thoughts over the course of the month.
The first live stream (link here for our live stream channel, and below when we’re live) will be Sunday, February 4th, at 8pm (ISSSHHHHHHH), where four of us will team up to see what this whole Palworld thing is all about, and whether it can win us over.
