New Xbox-compatible Racing Wheel Released by MOZA Racing

Racing game fans will no doubt know the name MOZA, though until now the high-end peripheral manufacturer has stuck to PC and high-end sim racing. Today, they reveal and release the MOZA Racing R3 Wheel and Pedal bundle for Xbox, coming in at £399.99 and marking their first foray into console gaming territory.

As per the official release: “The MOZA R3 bundle includes the R3 base with 3.9 Nm DD power, an ES steering wheel optimized for Xbox, an SR-P Lite pedal set, and a desk clamp for easy installation on desktops or rigs. The bundle offers plug-and-play functionality and is compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC”.

The wheel itself is “crafted with durable ISF grips and an aluminum alloy framework” and comes complete with “22 programmable buttons” that allow it to be used easily across the Xbox and PC setups, and connects to the weighty X-shaped base via a set of quick-release ball bearings that snap into place to hold it all together. A desk clamp mount can be attached, and it should fit into racing seat set-ups easily enough as well.

The pedals are built using “high-strength steel and feature an ultra-sensitive angle sensor” with the ability to customise placement as well as add in a clutch pedal should player wish to do so.

We’ve been dabbling in some racing action with it these past few days, and so far we’re pretty impressed indeed. Look out for our full review in the coming week or so, once we’ve more time to spend getting to grips with it fully.

I've been gaming since Spy vs Spy on the Master System, growing up as a Sega kid before realising the joy of multi-platform gaming. These days I can mostly be found on smaller indie titles, the occasional big RPG and doing poorly at Rainbow Six: Siege. Gamertag: Enaksan
