Wondering what games are coming to Xbox this month? Worry not, we’ve compiled a list of the biggest and most interesting releases right here for you, complete with links to trailers (when available).

Forza Motorsport – Turn10
Xbox’s premier racer is back after several years on the side lines with a huge line up of cars, tracks, and raytracing. We’ve a few racing fans on the team, and this has them getting more than a little excited to play (and see the raytracing). Recent previews have been pretty glowing (like a reflective bonnet on a sports car with raytracing) and considering it’s coming into Game Pass day one, there’s little excuse to not give it a go, if only to see the raytracing in action.
Raytracing.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage – Ubisoft Bordeaux
A return to the Assassin’s Creed roots is promised for this new entry, and – as above – previews have been somewhat glowing. Those of us who fell off of the series when it went a bit too action-RPG could well find this is the year to jump in, and we’ve not long to wait to find out.
October 17th
Sonic Superstars – Sega
After the excellent Sonic Mania, we’ve been waiting for a new 2D Sonic to get in to. While this is not the Mania sequel we hoping for, what we get instead is a four player 2D Sonic that calls back to the classic games while injecting some new-ness to it all. We’re very keen to see how this shapes up soon!
October 24th
Metal Gear Solid Master Collection: Volume 1 – Konami
For the first time ever, Xbox gamers will be able to play the classic Metal Gear Solid on their console of choice. It’s been many years since we’ve delved into that title, so this is an instant selling point for us, but add in the two sequels and MSX originals and we’re in for a healthy dose of MGS goodness. Here’s hoping it does well enough to afford a Vol. 2 with Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots…

Alan Wake 2 – Remedy Entertainment
Resident self-confesssed scaredy cat Ian has recently braved a few horror titles, and there’s no doubt this was to prepare for this game. He is a big fan of the first game and despite the sequel leaning into more survival horror, he’s keen to check it out! Even as someone who isn’t a fan of the first game, I must admit this looks really good. Here’s hoping that’s the case!
