Got yourself an Elite Series 2 controller but not a fan of the gray and black aesthetic? Well, Venom have got you partially covered with their Elite Series 2 Replacement Parts kit. Coming in either purple, gold, or blue (the one we received) it adds a little flair to the best controller out there, whether you’ve lost the little flappy paddles or just fancy a slightly snazzier looking bit of kit.
What we get in the set are:
- Replacement D-pads, both cross and ‘bowl’ variants in blue
- Six replacement sticks (one long, two standard, two smooth topped and one convex)
- A key for adjusting the torque in the sticks
- A full set of paddles also in blue
These are a one to one match for those found in the Elite Series 2 set, just in brighter colours. They snap into place in the exact same magnetic manner, and are stored in a nicely designed case that apes the Elite’s carry case design. Build quality seems on par too; in use, they feel and operate exactly the same as the official versions, with the same precision engineered quality in place.
I am a fan of being able to have a slightly unique touch to my controllers, and having these in a different colour just makes the whole controller slightly more aesthetically pleasing. I would have liked to see it include a few more variants on the sticks perhaps though; being a one to one match for the official version, still only including one longer stick is a shame. I much prefer having both sticks the same height, and if you’re getting this kit to replace a lost one then you’re still only ending up with one. Perhaps a few different versions would have been good too, but then again as a long time Xbox player I only really want to use concave, grippy sticks anyway.
Conclusion
Overall though Venom has done a bang up job in bringing this replacement kit to market. Build quality is excellent – as good as the official versions in my eye – while offering an affordable way to replace any lost/damaged parts. A few more unique stick variants, or at least two long sticks, would have been a nice touch but as it is, whether you need new parts or just fancy blinging your pad up, this is a great way to go about it.

Do you know if the paddles will fit in a fusion pro 2 controller? Its also licensed by xbox but icant tell by the picture to much, also i jerryrigged the paddles so they dont come out for now lol. But sirious, i would love to get my self little accessories for my controller.

I’ve not used the Fusion Pro 2, but I would imagine they wouldn’t. These are designed specifically for the Elite Series 2 controller and as such will likely only have the form and connections to fit that.
