Pinkman+ Review

When I first laid eyes on Pinkman+ I got massive N+ vibes. Would the 100 levels drive me to madness or would this be another walk in the park title?

Pinkman+ is a beautiful platformer with bright colours on the levels that change every time time you die. As you progress quickly through the levels you gain an extra ability, a flight booster to help reach further distances and give some of your wall jumps a needed push to the escape door.

You will need to unlock the doors of each level with switches, which are sometimes placed in tough to reach areas – this is where your boost comes into play – or next to bombs. Touch them and you will die. My personal favourite was when there was a boost jump pad next to a bomb, for maximum rage. Luckily levels are short, around 30 seconds max depending on the difficulty or how many times you died.

Conclusion

Pinkman+ is a fun puzzle platformer that has a nice retro style aesthetic. Much like obvious inspiration N+ the challenge is high, but also quite rewarding. That it is also optimised for the new console is a neat touch too.

Gaming used to be about playing Championship Manager ,but then I was introduced to consoles and I fell in love with Xbox 360. Xbox has always been my console of choice. Catch me on Apex or Call of Duty. Gamertag/Twitter: Chocolatebear80
